Say Hey Hey!
Well. It's been to long my friends. Sorry bout that! Been busy and lazy... mostly lazy. Lol. Shit I dunno where i left last time. Hold on a sec. Gotta check my last blog. Brb. . . . . SHIT SON! Billiting was the last time. That was like 2 months ago! My god boy! Lol. Kay so...
(This may be a bit of a read, you may want to go to the bathroom now.)
Billiting
So billiting was with Rolly my boss. It was really good! He wasn't around most of the time but it was still nice to be able to sit back at night and watch TV. I watched the Sopranos mostly when i was there. I did the math and I watched a little over 48 hrs. of tv on my comp. while I was there. But i was happy with that. Work was really lax during billiting. I woke up usually at like 5 to 9 and made a sandwich then walked to work. There was a movie being filmed there during billiting so I just had to hang out incase they needed something of the keys or anything of the sort. I hung out wiht the girls that were workign there for the summer and chilled for the week. The biggest thing was it was my 19th birthday over the billit period. Rolly let me have some people over. Dani and Spencer came for the night, Marty too. Gerard came till midnight, Steph and Claudia got to borrow the truck to come too and JD was by for a bit. Spencer, Marty and Dani camped in the back yard. We got to use the back yard to hang out and party. After a bit JD left. We had pizza for supper and then Rolly had bought me a cake. We went to the bar to continue the party and play pool. It was a blast, i had so much fun. It was nice to feel like a family. Everyone coming together to celebrate. It just one of those times that makes me feel so unbeleiveably grateful to have come and done this program. It made me happy to know that my friends here cared. At work we got afternoon off and I went into Winnipeg with the girls, Kaly and Caylin. We went shopping for a bit then went and saw Crazy, Stupid Love. So fucking funny. Like it was absolutly amazing. Spectacular movie. 5 Star, all the way. It was fun to go out. Then the next weekend, Rolly took me, Marty, Spencer and Dani to the city to see a movie and get dinner. We saw Crazy, Stupid Love again. It was just as amazing the second time. It was all and all a good time during billiting. I enjoyed Rolly's hospitality, and like he told me we ate well. Roast Beef like every other day. I must say that I was indeed happy to see everyone again and was happy to be in the house once more.
Meti Fest
Right after billiting we went to Meti Fest, at the International Peace Gardens, on the border of Canada and USA. It was interesting. We went with the other two groups, Colin, Marisol and Alice. It was actually fun. It was like a 4 hours drive because we had to drive to Peg first. We got to sleep in big Dorms, so that was cool. There was lots of live performances. I worked the Front Doors and the Main Hall the first night. Then I worked in the canteen. That was hecktic. So many people wanting food. We were making Burgers, Dogs, Smokies and Meti Tacos. We only had one BBQ... We could make like 10 burgers at once and they'd be sold out in about 30 seconds. It was pretty nerv racking but I got through it. After that I had the afternoon off. I traunched around the site for a bit. The next day I had kitchen duty. And I cleaned. That's it. And moved shit around lol. We had a big group picture before we left. I carried Gerard and Ian on my back, Ian was piggy backing Gerard and I piggy backed Ian while he piggy back Gerard. Thats like over 150 kgs. on my back and I took 2 or 3 steps before falling under their weight. I think thats pritty damn good.
General Life
Life was good. We found out that Gab got charged for some of the activities we did, like waterslides and Happy Potter 7 Part 2. Ya we went to the movies and tried to get Katimavik to pay for it lol. Didn't work so that was a bummer. Life was good. It got more busy once school started. More people on the streets. Bigway got a Gilato set up going too. Fucking taste boy. Had Rasberry and Peach together! Oh my god. Soooooo goooooood. Mmmmmm. Work was still easy as hell, only like 2-3 hrs a day.
48 Hours Off
Kay, so 48 hours off begins at 5 pm on friday. We get out that door and hit the road. Blaring Last Friday Night by Katy Perry. The ride there was just enough to get us pumped and ready to party like crazy. We dropped people off at their places that they were staying at. We got to our hotel and Gerard waited for Ian to show up. Jesus. Kick was so late. We chilled upstairs while Dani and Marty went shopping. Steph went to the airport to get Sophie who was flying in from Toronto. We hung out and started pre drinking (Drinks like 10 bucks for a double here mang!) Me and Gerard taughtIan to plan Munchkin and we had an Epic Game. Took like 4 hours. So crazy. Dani was so bored that she tried to figure out how to play. She can play now. Same with Steph and Adian. Marty nows a bit too. We all hung out in the room the first night. We went over to Fame, a near by gay bar, to go clubing. It was TGIF Friday. (Thank God I'm Fabulous!!) It was a blast. So much fun going around and just partying like crazy! So fun. I danced like crazy! We all had so much fun. Steph and Soph left early, then Marty and Spencer went back to the Hotel. They called last call and then Gerard, Dani and Ian went outside. I continued dancing with some people I met then when the DJ finished playing music I decied to leave. G, Dani and Ian were waiting for me outside for like 45 minutes. We went back to the hotel and had some more drinks and played another game of Munchkin before calling it a night. Saturday started early. I woke up at like 9 or 10. Went for a swim then lounged to recover from the night before. Was bored so started to drink. We played some Munchkin and watched KnockedUp for the 3 time on 48 Off. We got some Subway for supper, then Amanda, Rejeanne came over with Amanda's friend Melanie, from Edmonton! We all hung out and drank before heading to the strip club. It was horrible. So shitty. We left in like 10 minutes. a double was like 12 bucks. There was a random dude that talked to up and talked to us. The first cab came and it filled. Then after the second We all got in and the wasn't room for Melanie. She got out and was going to grab another cab by herself, I got outta the front and went to wait with her. Then the fuckign random dude went and took the front sit and stole a free ride to Fame with the girls. We just headed to Fame again for the Fairy Tale costume party. No costumes but still was going to party like crazy! We went onto the stage and did pole dancing. I went to the bathroom, which were both sexs, Mens and Womens bathroom, and had some girl randomly braid my hair lol. It was so random. I went out and danced more and the braids fell out and she saw me again and redid the braids. Everyone from my room went home at like 1 and then Steph and Soph went outside at liek 2. Me, Amanda, Rejeanne and Melanie stayed and danced till the music turned off again. We went over to Amanda's hotel and got some pizza. Did not expect to find a pizza joint open till 4am that devivered. It was tasty. Aidan was in the same hotel so we got the desk to page her room for us and we went to get her. Her and Stephan were chillin' watching TV. After the pizza we went to oour hotel. I got in and Gerard had the bed hogged so I passed out on the floor. It wasn't bad. We had decant amount of empties by the end of the weekend. I got up first again and got some of my shit together then went for a swim again. Everyone came down and joined. After we got all our shit packed then cabbed to the St. B house and then went to the Mall. The Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg game was starting so we went to a Sports bar. I had 8 tequila shots in like an hour and a half and felt fine. It was so wierd. We all got together at the St. B house and packed up our shit and went on home. What a fucking amazing weekend spent with amazing friends. And new friends too.
Sea Lookout Came to Winnipeg
A Ontario group, Sea Lookout, came to Winnipeg for there big excursion. We had a big potluck for dinner and had a pretty good time. After that we got free time and there was a free outdoor Rock show going on at the Forks. Gab didn't mention it was Christian Rock though... We just went to a bar and shot pool for a while. It was a good night in Winnipeg.
Fern's Cabin / Debriefing / Big Excursion
We went out to Fern's cabin for our Debriefing/Big Excursion. We made pair and planned out Debriefing activities to help group develpment or talk about things we learned during the rotation. During debreifing everyone took turns cooking one meal, like how we did the first week of Katimavik. Me and Gerard we gunna take another crack at it after our unbelievably crazy House Manager week. We made, chicken, baked potatoes on a fire and asparagus. It was really good! We hit it on the spot and made up for all of our mistakes from our House Manager week. We got to Fern's then unpacked the van and got settled into our sleeping areas. We got settled in then Gab did a couple of activities with us. It was fun, we got to think about fun times, things we learned and shit like that then share our experiances with the group. Then she had the sheets that we filled out the first day of Katimavik. It said what we felt and shit like that. I had Hungry and nervous on my sheet. Two words. That's it. We wrote underneath that and then I had like have a page talking about how amazing of a time I had. We got free time for the rest of the night and let the party begin. (Playing Beer pong, doing shots and having a blast. Damn it feels good to party with this new family.) The next day we started doing the activites we all planned. We started with one of Gab's first though. We had two teams, then each team had 5 minto make a fire, get the fire big, then put their potato into the fire. Then each team had two cups and had to take water to putout the other teams fire while defending their own fire. After 30 min. the team with the most cooked potato won. We lost... But it was a fun game. Then we did the activities we made. Mel and Dani's was fun. We had news paper on the floor. We danced while the music played then when it stopped playing, we all had to fit on the newspaper. Then after each round the paper got smaller. It was a fun game. We had good laughs. After we did one were we had partners and we drew our partners, first with out look at them, then without looking at the paper. It was fucking halrious to see teh pictures! Sooooo funny. After we did one and it was an obsticale course... but you were blind folded. Your partner had to guide you throught the course! lol it was actually kidna nerve racking not knowing where you were going. I'd hate to be blind. Then we did mine and Spencer's activity. We had everyone go one by one and talk about their work experience and what they learned, what experience they got from it and some stories. What they enjoyed to do, what not so much. That kidna thing. After that We had them write a discription of their jobs on paper and make like a brochure for their work placement for when the new group came in they had an idea of what they could learn at each job and have discriptions of the job. After dinner (me and Gerard cook) we went and watched the sun set. Fern has a sunset deck with such an amazing view. The sunset reflects off of the lake. Man it was beautiful. A bunch of geese started to fly in for the night too. Hundreds of them Atleast 500 - 1000. It was a sight to see. After that we had our free time. It was Martyna's birthday!!! So like every birthday, we partyed. Like crazy. Even Aidan did a shot! Which was crazy! We played strip beer pong. Spencer was almost naked in like 10 minutes. He's so fast! Haha. It was a crazy night. So much fun and great memories. The next day we had a huge breakfast and started to get all packed up. We chilled out after cleaning everything up then thanked Fern for such an amazing weekend.
The Move...
We had to clean the house after debreifing and get all packed up. I cleaned up the kitchen with Steph, Marty and Claudia. It took a while. We had one last night in St. Pierre so we went out to the park for one last time. We had a good time. It was good times in that park. But it was easy. Our bus didn't arrive until like 1:30 ama so we had a while on the last day. After the cleanign was dun we munched on leftovers for dinner. Gab got worried about us not being packed so she told us we had to be done packing before we got our allowance. We all we finished when people noticed the northern lights outside so we all went over to watch them at the park. When we got home at liek 12:30, wegave Gab the HUGE thank you card we made for her for being such an amazing PL and helping us have and amazing time in St. P. It was an amazing time and a great experiance. I gave Gab a present, a large flower bouque, a bottle of Gin (Her Fav!) and a Cuban Cigar. She gave us all a letter that we wern't allowed to open and read till after she dropped us off at the airport. When everyone got the letter's and we started getting ready to leave St. Pierre Jolys, everyone started getting teary and upset. It was sad to have to leave and finish this chapter of Katimavik and our lives but it was a nessicary one. I was ready for the leave and change, but I think some wern't as ready. We got outside and then everyone had one last look at the house before leaving St. Pierre Jolys for good. Not for ever. But for now. I know i deffinatly want to go back to that amazing little village. We got on the bus and took off for Winnipeg. We started to listen to the beats we banged in the Moushtache Van for the last 3 months. Me and Gab had some Gin too =P It was sad to leave but we got to travel with St. Boniface too. We went and picked them up at there house and went to the Airport. Colin came too. Marisol showed up at the airport when we got there. We had to wait for the airport people to show up so we could check in. We all said goodbye to Gab, Marisol and Colin then said our final goodbye. It was hard. But Gab's last words were "You can read your letters now!". That was it. Gab took off. And we were heading to Happy Valley - Goose Bay to start this new chapter of our Katimavik adventures. We flew to Toronto, then Halifax then finally Happy Valley - Goose Bay Labrador. We got off of the plan and walked into the terminal to see our new PL, Chelsea.
PS I FUCKING LOST MY I POD IN HALIFAX! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

The Divide
Say Hey Hey!!
So we started billiting now.
I live with my boss, Rolly. He pretty awesome! He works a lot though so I'm usually home alone at night. Started on Thursday, just in time for Chase the Ace. But the format was changed. The liquor board got on Luc's case cuz the game promoted and encourages drinking. So every half an hour, everyone in the bar gets a ticket. But anyway, still fun. Me and Rolly partied with Gab, Barny and Luc till like 2, then wandered on home. Work on friday was a total breeze. Just sat and hung out with the girls for the day. Then when I got home had some supper and JD came over for a visit. We chilled till Rolly came home and then JD went to meet with Martyna. Rolly took me to Fern's cabin in St. Malo. ... Words cant describe my amazement. It looked like something outta a movie. So amazing. Ill get pictures when I go home. After Fern's we went to Luc's for drinks and Kareoke!! Fuck Yes!! Sang Tribute by Tenacious with Cyndee. (Kyle if your reading this... Dude, I Totally Miss You!) IT was awesome. Wandered home at about 2 again (When Luc's closes.) Today we went to Rolly's friend's house, Laura. We helped out on her ranch, taking apart a barbwire fence. Pretty easy. Now I'm at Rolly's, drinking Rum and writing to you folks. Well, I got to go have more crazy adventures so I have something to talk to you guys about.

HOLY AWESOME!!!
Say Hey Hey!!
So Had to make a blog. FUCKING AWESOME!!!
So we were gunna go to Fun Mountian Waterpark but the weather was bad.
So instead we went to the Manitoba Museum.
We saw this sweet laser show about time. Like how it became and black holes and stuff.
So sweet
Then we went through the museum. It was aight. They had like a 12 person mini theatre that was playing Charlie Chaplon movies. It was sweet.
Then there was like a hands on area. It was fun. Like making tornados and stuff like that. Seats with pulley a single pulley. A Double pully and then another with triple pulley. To show the difference that it makes.
And then there was the kinex.
Yea thats right.
So it was a build your own car thing. With a motar part on the front. The moter had wires coming out the bottom you'd place onto the track then a connection was made allowing the motor to run. So me and Gerard went to town building just sweet ass cars. I got pics on my fav car. Ill post em... eventually.
Then we went to Steinbeck for a BBQ. It was nice. Got to visit and stuff. Then Colin, a Katima Alumni, talked to us about his experience. He fought with his first PL. Then the house burned down. Then he got an amazing PL then she left and the next was horrid and his group sucked and they hated him and just how the experience changed him to the person he is now. It really got me thinking. He asked about why everyone was here. He talked about layers and peeling them off and showing who you are inside. And like that only the people who like you how you are that way are the people that you want to have in your life. He talked about some of the bonds he made. There was one girl that hated him to the point that she almost left because he was there. Now the consider each other blood siblings and she even said she'd sacerfice her brother for him. And just the relationships and friendships that are made and when someone gets to the point that they think about others everyday and how their doing and that sorta thing. It really made me think. About why Im here. What I want to do with my life. Where I want to go with it. That sorta thing.
Then they brought out cake for my birthday. Lol. I was really shocked and didn't she it coming. Like. Took me by total surprise. It was really nice though. I didnt expect much for a birthday thing. Like I've been living with the group for a month and they already... I dunno how to put it to words but it was really nice. Im looking forward to living for the next 5 months with all these amazing people. Im happy with my group and honestly would trade it for anything else.
Then when we left to go home. Amazingness happened.
I'd like to thank Kyle, Kat, Colleen, and English for all the practice I got.
We were driving.
I saw some inoccent padestrians.
I Just Had Sex.
In the Katimavan.
Yea.
Wait... that doesnt sounds right. Shit. Lol. We blared I Just Had Sex at some innocent padestrians in the Katimavan. Lol
So much fun. Gab just laughed. It was a good to remember all the good times in high school.
Well.

Bringin' Home The Bread.
Say Hey Hey!
So almost two weeks gone by so I figured I should right. And here I GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
So I started working by myself on Monday. Steph was house managing with Martyna so I was working alone. I had to dig out a 6 foot by 10 - 12 foot garden bed, two 20 square foot trianglular beds, and on about 25. It was easy work and I was done it all by about 2. I went and cleaned the Sugar Shack, it's a hall that seats about 100 people with tables that the Museum rents out. It was just like work before Katimavik so easy peasy. I came home and just chilled for the rest of the night. On Tuesday I dug a little more and trimmed the crap out of these trees. It took like an hr and a half per tree. After work I had dinner and then went to French class. We started working on words and sentence structure and we learned some dinner table conversation, mainly asking to pass something. It was nice, better then all the stuff the week before. At KCC I told Gab about how the French class was going and that it was horrible. She was teaching us congigation or some shit like that. And how to do all this stupid crap that would never help us. We ended up just asking questions about her to get her off topic so that we didnt have to do anything. Such bullshit. But its all good now!! =D We learning usefull stuff! On Wensday we didnt have to work. We went to Roso Provincial Park and did vollenteering. Gab had time off though so our PSL, Marisol, came and drove us there and helped out. We had to paint the building there. We started for the day by just priming. The guys and me started on this shed, scraping the paint that was chipping then started to work on the priming. We got finished the priming in time for JD to start our BBQ that the guy who asked for our help gave us. We had some tasty burgers. He didnt know that Gerard and Claudia were veggies so they didnt get burgers. Claudia packed her own lunch luckily and Gerard had a couple condiments sandwiches. After lunch we worked on this big gazibo like structure. Sorta like a cookhouse, like at Eagle River Campsite, but it had no wall and just benches for eating. We started to clean up and Marisol poked me and Gerard with her paintbrush. ... it was on. I turned and dragged my brush down he hand. She went in to slap my arm this her brush but I blocked with my brush. We started this intense sword battle with paint brushes. I went to strike and when I went to slap her with the bristles, she moved forward and I cracked her with the metal part of the brush. We stopped then, when my back was turned, she walked up and hit my back. My brush was in the paint at the time so when I turned to slap her leg with my brush, there was a lot of paint. So I took of running. She chased be for a good 150 yards then I looked bsck to see how far behind she was, it looked like she was gunna try to fling paint at me. She threw the brush, struck me in the hip and down I went lol. It hurt, like a lot. We laughed about it, got our stuff put away then we went home. Marisol left the house to go home right away, some of us went to the Thrift shop to check what was in. The wasnt much but I got a Sublime cd for the house though! It was a pree chill night. We went out for some drinks, wings and general crunkness. Lol. On Thursday we went back to put on the paint. Gab went with us this time. The painting went pretty good. The same things got painted, We went ot paint the outdoor rink and thats when it got interesting. So Gab pokes me with the paint brush. I dont think much about it, what eves and all. Spencer's hot working it the sun so he got his shirt off. I walk up, put a big ol' smiley face on his back, laugh then get paint flicked at me by Gab. A massive war breaks out, paints getting thrown at almost everyone. Gerard's hair is self maintaining so all he does is wash it with water, so he didnt want any paint in his hair, so we repected his wishes. By now, Spencer got attack by JD with a paint-roller, and now Spencer didnt give two shits so we painting his ENITRE upper body. Armpits, webs of fingers, everything. Then Gab gave him a streak in his hair, he looked pre bad ass! Lol, all of our clothes are covered in paint. It was so much fun. When we got home, we showered like crazy. We had French class and we learned different foods and how to talk about what we did at work that day. It nice to learn some real stuff Lol.!! =D On friday we had free time for the night so it was nice. Hung out and watched Mallrats. Good movie! I love Jay and Silent Bob! =P On Saturday, we went to Steinbach. We picked strawberries for about an hour. We had a hell of a time getting there. We got in shit with Gab because our Activities Commitee didnt plan everything right. They had to get better directions and have a better plan for each activity in general. We got told the night before that we had to know if Gab needed cash or if she could pay with a credit card. We got there, we needed cash. Luckily before she left to go get cash, the lady told us it was on the house because it was the dead end of the season. We were really lucky. We got like 7 4L ice cream buckets full to the brim with strawberries. After we went to a "Pinoneer Village Party"... Not a actually party. We had lunch there. Sandwichs. They were good. Me and Gab got into a mustard fight so my second sandwich had about 4 or 5 tblespoons of mustard on it. Still good though. The village was a dud. So lame. We got a wagon ride from Ryan, a Steinbach Katimaviker. It was alright. The big highlight was we got to visit with the Steinbach group so that was good. The rest was sorta lame. And we were there for like 5 hours. It was fucking ridiculous. WE went home for supper then had the night off for free time. On Sunday we went to Winnipeg for the day. We went to the St. Boniface Museum. God. Damn. It. ARG!! The tour was like 45 min longer then we planned. The guide was this creepy little guy with a lazy eye. He said something to Gerard, but Gerard didnt realize it cuz of the eye so he got razzed a bit for not paying attention. And the dude was making so many French Dead Baby Jokes. Like common. I like a good Dead Baby Joke, but not on a museum tour. Show some damn perfessionalism. Like jeez. So after we went to the St. B house and had lunch in their back yard. Then we told them we were going to the Manitobia Museum because us actually going to Winnipeg for free time was not allowed so it was all good. We went to Osborne St. It kidna like Whyte Ave. A bunch of people got peircings. Then we went back to a Cultural Heritage Centre were Folkorama was going on. Theres like 70 countries with their own pavillions. Then they serve cultured based food, lives shows and performances, then there are booth with info about the country. We went to the Carribean one. The performances were good. There was a limbo dancer. She was really good. Even threw in a limbo under a stick on fire! The food was good. Had Curry Chicken. Then the booth were pretty cool too. There one country, only English speaking country in South America and it has a 700 foot, vertical drop waterfall; the worlds largest! And the worlds largest wooden structure in the world. a old church. Like 450 metres tall i think it was. Interesting stuff! Then we went home and hit the hay. On Monday we had fun. We went to Gimili, a 2 hour drive on the West side of Lake Winnipeg. We went to the Icelandic festival. We watched the big parade. There were some really nice cars there. It was fun. We got free time to do what ever for a bit before lunch. Me, Gerard and Steph hung out and went to a Hemp SHop. I got a really nice Hemp Hack. It was cheep too. Now Mom needs to send me my skate shoes so I can put it to good use! I tried a milkshake with hemp milk, it was good, very interesting. The guy working there was working on building a house made of hemp. We had sandwichs for lunch before more free time. We checked out the carnival rides and craft vendors they had there for a bit before watching a Viking Battle Tactics Demonstration. It was pretty bad ass. There was this guy with a wicked beard. So Awesome. We had a little more free time before we had supper. Maccaroni salad. Was tasty. We had a nice ride home too. Tiring day. I got a wicked farmers tan now. And after that day some racoon eyes lol. And a V neck tan. I feel like one bad ass mo fo now! lol On Tuesday Steph joined me for work. It was easy. We did some digging. We were done by like 12 so had the rest of the day off. At French class we got to play I Spy. SO MUCH FUN! Lol. And it was outside so it was a nice break from the classroom. We got out early too cuz Spencer went into the class during break and put the clock ahead 5 min. xD On Wensday me and Steph beat our record and were done work at like 10 30. We had a nice day off again. We went for wings at Lucky Lucs last night too. I talked to him and he gunna have a batch of C & A wings made up for me. =D IM SO FUCKING EXCITED!! GUNNA BE SO DELICIOUS!!! =D Then today me and Steph finished at 10 30 again. We hung out at the museum for like an hr and a half though and chilled. I got to go to French now though then of to Lucky Luc's for Chase The Ace. Chase The Ace is a event Luc made. You get a ticket for each ounce you buy. At 11 they draw a ticket. Winner chooses a card from the deck and if you get the wrong card it is taken out permently and the pot is upped by $25. If you get the Ace of Spades you win the pot. The like 7-8 cards left and the pot at $1275 right now so wish me luck!!

PS My beard coming along nicely! =D
Desperate Housewives.
Say Hey Hey!
So Me and Gerard are house managers this week. And everything that cook go wrong while cooking did go wrong. Lol. It was the funnest thing ever! Gerard cept burning himself, cut himself, then i totally took the cake but burning a chair and almost setting it on fire. I set a hot pot on a stool with a cushion on it and it burned in seconds. I made potatoes and everyone in the group LOVED them lol. they were actually pretty damn good if i do say so myself. We got free deer meat too. Gerard is a vegetarian for moral reasons so to speak, he doesnt beleive in slaughter houses so he ate the deer meat too.
So everyday we had to get up at 9 and then eat breakfast and shower, then get to the house work. We had to clean the living room, kitchen, bathrooms, the yard and that sorta thing. We usually were done by like 12 at the latest. Then we chilled and watched Digimon for 3 hours while munching out on leftovers. Then at like 3-4 we'd start on dinner. We didn't once make it on time for dinner. Cooking is so much FUN! Holy crap. Cooking with Gerard is a blast. We'd laugh so hardcore at all the mistakes that'd we'd make... solike every 15 min we'd be laughing. And it was nice doing meal plans with him being a veggie, so we could make proteins for the veggies, just him and Claudia. So i found out that kidney beans take 4 HOURS to cook. Dear god. It nuts. And lentals, dont actually take that long. It says boil them for 5 min and let simmer for 1 hr. And its 500 ml of water over the lentals. So I pour some water into the pot, dump a bunch of lentals into the pot them boil the shit outta them for like 15 min. Gerard tasted them; that's our way of finding out if something cooked, taste test, "Lowen the chicken done?" *Lowen Eats Chicken* "I think I just got samonela so not a little longer" "Cool dawg."; and he thought they were good so it worked out. On Wensday we made pancakes and didnt have enough, so on Thursday i made damn shure there was enough. We had two regular sized pans of nachos. Each pan had the following. 1 1/2 bags of nacho chips, 3 peppers, 2 onions, 3 jalapanos, a box of mushrooms and like 1 kg of cheese. SO DAMN GOOD! HOLY SHIT! LIKE WOW! lol Tonight we shall be making a vegetarian dinner tonight. Rice with a sauted veggies and a curry sauce over top. There beans in the curry for protein so its all good! Lol.
On Friday, we had free time so we phoned St. B and Steinback and we went to Winnipeg for the Fringe Fest. We saw this weird ass Freak Show. It was even that, it was just a 4 man theatre show with no singing. But Gogol Bordelo got played in it so it wasn't that bad. After that we went to explore then saw a street performer. He was a contortionist... on stilts.SO BAD ASS! =D He held onto a broom, behind his back, threw it over his head. Then under his legs and popped his shoulders back into place. He then got onto stilts and had a girl from the crowd put a ring up each stilt and he contorted his way threw both of the rings, WHILE putting a tennis racket over his head and climbing all the way threw the tennis racket. We flipped shit. So incredible! Then we trawnched around for a while. I got a lemonade from a Lemonade Heaven stand, it was the best lemonade I've ever had. Just plain delicious. After wondering by every vendor, we walked down the road and saw a club. We leand against a wall across the street from the club cuz there was nothing better to do. Two bouncers walk out with a REALLY drunk chick over there shoulders. They set her on the side of the road and walked away. She had two friends with her tho so it was that bad but still, I was shocked to see that. They just walked away. So we sat a watched this chick and all the friends that came and went for like 30 min. Then we saw a guy cross the street with SOO much swagger. Like just strutting this shit outta the street. So funny. Then this white dude came out to talk to the girls. He was such a wangster. Pants were like an inch above the knees, always holding his crotch. Lol. What a douche. Lol. One chick realized that we were watcheing and told her friends. Ian stared down the white guy. It was hilarious. We left to fallow the white guy toward the Fringe and got some more lemonade. We went back and a friend finally showed up to pick the drunk chick up. We walked to our meeting place and got on the buses and came home. When we got back me and Gerard had to make beard for lunch on Saturday though so it was rough. I passed out watching house tho so Gerard finished the bread.
On Saturday we got to go to the zoo with the other groups. We saw two prairie dogs trying to rape each other. It was hilarious. Then we checked out the monkeys. So awesome! There were these stupid poster around the park. "Why does a cow sweat out off it's nose? Because that's were their sweat glands are!" Well no shit. Afterwe went for a picnic at a little park not to far from the zoo. Sandwichs and fruit and veggies. Oh boy! Lol. We got to go to the Forks, were two rivers met in Winnipeg. Seb was with us the whole time so we got a tour of the area. We slowly walked to the Fringe again and I got some more Lemonade and a SKA mix CD. We got home at about 5 or 6 so me and Gerard went to work on supper. We had potatoes because my potatoes on friday were so awesome. And some left over deer meat, samon, and corn. It was tasty. We got free time to do what ever, but by the time that supper dishes were dun it was like 10 so they played Headbanz while i was watching House. Then we started watching Sex Drive, it was alright but i got tired so i crashed.
But its tiem to begin the dinner prep so I must be off.

Everyday I'm Shufflin'!
Say Hey Hey!!
So now that Frog Follies is over I have some time to sleep so i can stay awake long enough to blog it up.
Well. Frog Follies was a blast. I got the chance to work with Seb, a town worker who works for St. Pierre en Boon. We pretty cool, cept for being a bombers fan. I had been doing set up and prep work for the festival with Rolly, my boss, last week. On Friday night, there was a massive bingo night, but only 6 people went there. Me, Steph, Spencer and Gerard went with Rolly to the golf course to help with the Frog hunt. We drove people around to different ponds in golf carts so they could hunt for some frogs to compete in the festival. It was fun, a nice break from doing labour work. It was soooo hot. All weekend. Then on Sat I began with Seb. The Katimavik groups from Stienback and St. Bonifest joined too. Like I said I was working with Seb, running errands for him and helping him out with what ever he needed. He was like one of the head organizers for the festival so he was a busy man. It was kkinda quite. After lunch we went back to help out and me, JD, and Sammy (she from St. B.) had to go bottle water in a town for the company that was donating water for the festival. We were there for about 3 hrs. It was kinda rough. Really boring. But we got pizza for supper so what evs. That night a bunch of us gottogether and went out to the bar. We went to check out the social that was going on but it was too exciting so we went back to the bar. good night man. lol. On sunday it was more chaotic. Claudia, Sebs other assistant, helped him and i was helping out with the pancake breakfast. It was crazy busy. After that i had to help set a hall up for the party that the Eg Society was having. It was crazy setting everything up. The sound techs made things a little more compecated but in the end it was worth it. Our group worked soo hard the entire weekend and was always on task that we got one hell of a reward. The Eg Society gave us a SHIT TON of food. Like over 100 L of juice mix, over 1000 ganorla bars, over 200 rice crispy squares and so many crackers and canned fish. It was like 600 buts of snack food. We dont even get 600 for our groceries every week. It was so encredable. Like crazy. I didnt get many pics the entire weekend but we all gunna share so heres to hoping.!!
I started as house manager with Garard this week. We had baked mac and cheese for lunch on Monday, then rice roasted veggies and chicken for supper. SOO good lol, even tho Gerard burned the rice. It kinda tough thinking of veggitarean meals to. But Gerard is veggie so it helps alot. Today we had chicken salad for lunch and then Ground beef, corn, roasted carrots and potatoes for supper. it was pretty good too! and we didnt fuck up our bread today!! YAYA!! Sandwichs for lunch tmrw!!
But battery deing.

It's been a little tiring, but its fun. Next week we start working on the grounds at the museum. It'll be awesome cuz when i leave, all the work i did will still be shown. We gunna slowly fix up the museum over the next three months.
So my group pretty awesome. Mostly cuz yours truely is in it lol. In my room there Spencer, from Branton Ontario, Gerard from some small town in Ontario, and JD from Monteral. Then upstairs theres Gab our Project Leader's (PL) room, then one of the girls rooms, with Martyna from London Ontario, Steff from Toronto, and Danielle from a city outside of Toronto. Downstairs is Aiden from a Quebec city, Mellisa from the same place as Aiden, and also Claudia from Montreal. Our group gets along quite well. Mellisa and Claudia are Francaphones. JD, Aiden, and Martyna are bi lingual and everyone else only English.
WE learned to make beard already. We have to make EVERYTHING from scratch.
